WELCOME to the web home of Bilyara Border Collies. We hope you will enjoy your visit!

In January 1994 we moved into our cottage, which lies on the outskirts of the village of Eastchurch on the Isle of Sheppey. The village has historical associations with Henry VIII who stayed at Shurland Hall, which we can see from our garden. It is also famous in aviation history, as the Wright brothers made their first flight from a runway built near the village. There are two Aviation Heritage centres on the Island, one being at Eastchurch.

The cottage, which was built in 1841, lies at the edge of a 460-acre farm and thanks to our friendly farmer, we are able to exercise the dogs without the worry of busy roads. It is an idyllic location without any close neighbours. We can watch the ever-changing view as the seasons evolve and as the crops grow and are harvested. We often take time out to watch the wild life and especially the wide variety of birds that visit us during the year.

All the buildings and the garden have been adapted to suit our lives with the Bilyara family, as you will see from the photographs featured in this site.
